“Sau Sing Chai” also known as “Ah Sau “ in the comic series is less than five feet tall, weighs about 100 pounds, and is forever nine and a half years old. He is kind-hearted and has a good sense of humour. He always acts more mature than his age. The story revolves around the fragments of daily life and develops into detective suspense. With a popular and easy to understand Cantonese dialogue, it has a “Hong Kong-produced movie “style. The drawing styles are simple yet skilful with brilliant brushstrokes and readers often find the light-hearted plots very entertaining.” Sau Sing Chai has established an irreplaceable status in the Hong Kong comic industry. The character creation of “Sau Sing Chai” is inspired by the protagonist “Charlie Brown” in the American “Peanut Comics” and is the author’s favourite comic character. “Sau Sing Chai” is the first comic book in Hong Kong to set up a fan club.
