Name of character：Ocean Hacken
Ocean Hacken, the hero of this story, is the eldest grandson of Mountain Hacken, the architect of the city. Due to his grandfather’s serious illness, he was ordered to help Tinkie Tiber and the orphans find the injured guidance beasts of the city. It is true that he has passed on the secret technique from his grandfather, but he lacks practical combat experience is his biggest weakness. With humour, empathy, and a little nervousness, he steps on the unknown path for a grand adventure.
About Comic Artist – Kwong Chi Kit
Kwong Chi Kit is a full-time comic artist.
Born in Hong Kong, he was educated in the United States in his early years and worked in advertising industry upon graduation. After returning to China in 2008, he devoted himself to teaching at Shantou University and Savannah College of Art and Design Hong Kong for 10 years.
In 2020, he co-authored <The Saga of Kunlun Mountain> with Mak Tin Kit and Lu Wai Cheung, and was well received. His first solo work <The architect’s epiphany> was selected for the 1st Hong Kong Comics Support Program and won the Silver Award and Character Design Awards, and the science fiction work won the Gold Award in the 2nd Hong Kong Comics Support Program.
Both of his award-winning works have been successfully licensed in French, English and Malay. Kwong is currently working on re-editing Wang Yi’s original martial arts novel into a comic, which is expected to be released by the end of July 2024.
